  • What are the site requirements to hire a hot tub?
We require a 3.5m x 3.5m space to set up the hot tub, gazebo and the rest of the package in a secure private garden. At this location, the ground must be firm and flat and could be either grass, decking or patio. We also require access to water and power for the hot tub to be operational.
  • Do I need to have an outdoor power socket?
No, this is not necessary. We can provide an all-weather extension cable that can run from inside, however there must be a point of access that we can run this through (i.e. a window that can stay partially open).
  • Will I need an outdoor tap?
Not necessarilly. We can fill the hot tub from either an outdoor or an indoor tap. If the indoor tap is unusual, please get in touch with us prior to the hire so we can make sure we have the right attachments for our hoses.
  • Do you rent to shared gardens?
We only rent to secure private gardens. If you are unsure whether you qualify for this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and ask.
  • What happens if the hot tub doesn’t fit?
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the site requirements are met and failure to do so will result in the delivery being cancelled. The company also reserves the right to keep the booking deposit to cover our delivery costs.
  • How many people can fit in the hot tub?
The hot tub is designed to cater up to 7 people, although we would recommend 6 adults. For every adult that enters the hot tub, the water level rises by around 5-7cm. Similarly, when the air jets are turned on, the water level also rises by this margin.
  • How long does it take to heat the hot tub?
The time it takes to heat the hot tub is dependent on both the temperature of the water that is put into the hot tub and the outside temperature. The hot tub can take up to 18 hours to reach its maxium heat, therefore your hot tub should be ready to go the following evening after delivery. This is why we deliver our hot tubs on Thursdays and Sundays, to allow them to reach maximum heat by the Friday or Monday.
  • How many jets does the hot tub have?
Our wonderful hot tubs have 180 deeply relaxing air jets.
  • What accessories come with the hot tub?
All our hot tubs come with a gazebo, fairy lights, UE Boom 3 Bluetooth Speaker, Lay-Z-Spa hot tub mats and a Lay-Z-Spa 7 Colour Underwater LED Light. All the chemicals and filters you will require during your hire are provided, along with a manual reminding you how to operate and care for the hot tub.
  • What chemicals are used in the hot tub?
Our hot tubs use chlorine granules, pH Plus, Spa shock, pH Minus, alkalinity boost, alkalinity reducer, foam free, test strips, a step-by-step guide and water management recording sheets. These are all provided.
  • Do I need to check the chemicals during the hire?
Yes, our trained team will show you how to manage the chemicals and operate the hot tub safely. The hot tub should be tested daily in order to ensure that it is in safe working use. A manual detailing everything you were shown by our team will be left with you during your hire.

  • Do I need to be present to take the delivery?
Yes, we require someone over the age of 18 to receive the delivery, as it is very important that they are shown how to safely operate the hot tub. Please note that we will require proof of identity and address (photo drivers licence, utility bill or similar).
  • Do you deliver to holiday homes?
Yes, we deliver to holiday homes, although we require permission from the property owner ahead of the delivery.
  • How is the hot tub drained?
We use a water pump and large hose to drain the hot tub. It will be drained into the nearest drain or wherever deemed convenient by the hirer.
  • Is the hot tub safe for children?
Any children under the age of 4 should not use the hot tub, along with children under 8 who are unable to put their face in the water. Anyone under the age of 16 should not use the hot tub without adult supervision.
  • Do we get a saftey briefing?
Yes, of course! Our trained team will provide a full safety briefing making sure you have the best experience in a safe manner. Our safety waiver can be found here.
  • What happens in the case of severe weather conditions?
It is very rare that our hires are altered due to weather, however, if the weather is so severe that it is deemed unsafe for the full package to be put out, then we reserve the right to offer a reduced package. This will include either a gazebo with no sides or a package without the gazebo at all. This is for the safety of any people and property around the gazebo.
  • Should I use the hot tub if I have a medical condition?
If you have a medical condition, seek medical advice before hiring a hot tub, especially those who experience heart and circulation problems, skin conditions, are immune-suppressed, subject to fits, or are taking medication affecting the nervous or their cardiovascular system.
  • Will the hot tub have been cleaned after the previous hire?
